Bashir Ahmed Shah’s quest for knowledge led him to Lahore and Karachi, where he pursued higher education in medicine, law, Punjabi literature, and alternate medicine therapies, including homoeopathy. He was an alumnus of Government College University, Lahore, and Punjab University, where he nurtured his passion for medicine and a commitment to serving humanity.

He began his medical journey in the Family Planning Department in District Jhang, where he served with distinction. Later, he made significant contributions as a physician at the Facto Sugar Mills Hospital in Darya Khan during the 1970s.

In the late 1980s, he founded Bashir Clinical Laboratories in Bhakkar, the first private pathological laboratory in the entire district. This pioneering effort revolutionized healthcare access for the local community and beyond. Additionally, he established the first and only blood bank in the district, providing life-saving support during emergencies.

Bashir’s relentless pursuit of innovation extended to medical equipment. He designed and developed locally manufactured incubators and hatcheries with automated operations, which proved instrumental in improving neonatal care in the region.

He leaves behind a proud and accomplished family, with his son Noman Ahmed Shah following in his footsteps as a visionary leader, inventor, and entrepreneur. Noman’s passion for technology and frontier advancements has led him to establish groundbreaking ventures, including Xero Tech FZ LLC, the University of Metaverse, NexTech Assembly, and Pragmatic Thinkers (Thinktank). His elder son, Imran Shah, was a prominent IT expert and inventor, widely recognized in internet policy and governance circles. Tragically, Imran passed away in December 2019, leaving behind a profound impact on the world of technology.

Another son, Kamran Shah, a British citizen, continues the family legacy as an IT expert and inventor with a keen interest in electronics.

His younger daughter Rabia, a British citizen, embodies the family’s artistic side, excelling as a writer and poet, as well as pursuing a career as a physiotherapist.

His grand daughter Alina, a remarkable 7-year-old, showcases a passion for science, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She has already filed a UK patent, runs her own YouTube Vlog, and showcases her love for science experiments and mathematical brilliance.
